<description>We love your blog “Parenting by Dummies”; your frank story telling coupled with that sharp wit make your blog a “page turner” for all readers, even those without kids. A personal favorite of mine was the “How to Teach Your Kids to Appreciate Your Awesome” post, particularly the part when you went “to the bus stop to get big brothers. Pee[ed] outside car.” Classic.

As a busy parent of three dudes (almost four…darn husbands), I’m sure you know the importance of pinching pennies where you can. We were wondering if you’d had the chance to take advantage of the price advantages the new ALDI in Washington, D.C. has to offer. It’s the first in the D.C. area, located at 901 17th St. NE, and opened Friday, Nov. 11, 201 to the applause and support of local dignitaries and community members.

The new D.C. ALDI store offers high-quality products at everyday low prices, bringing access to fresh, affordable groceries to an area where they have historically been hard to find. ALDI furthered its commitment to the local community during the grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony by donating $5,000 to the Ward 5 Warriors, a local youth organization designed to empower children through mentoring and athletics.

And now, ALDI has been nominated for “Best Grocer” in the Washington City Paper’s annual “Best of DC” contest! We encourage you to check out your local ALDI, and if you agree, send in your vote and help spread the word. Use this link to vote for ALDI here. Also, you can use the link here to create a widget which will appear on your webpage to promote the voting.

Customers can expect to find more than 1,400 of the most frequently purchased items in a simple and easy-to-navigate shopping environment. A leader in the grocery retailing industry since 1976, ALDI is committed to bringing customers the highest-quality products at the lowest possible prices, saving 20 million monthly customers up to 50 percent on their grocery bills. Another ALDI store recently opened in Cheverly, Md., and more locations throughout the Beltway are planned for the coming year.

Please don&#039;t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions. Thank you very much and we greatly appreciate your help!

Best,
Leah
