YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS! I made the cut!
I only started blogging 8 weeks ago and I really love it. I never knew how much I enjoyed writing. I would love your opinion.
I saw you today on TLC What Not to Wear, and that is Awesome : ) Love your blog. I have a blog also, and it wants to be awesome just like yours xo
So I also saw you on What not to Wear and I totally loved everything about you. You are so brave to stand up and talk about the feelings that you are feeling in the inside.
I wish you luck and really enjoy reading your blog. Also your pictures are pretty <3
Amanda, I want that blue dress you wore in your reveal! Please, please give me the brand name and where you bought it. It is so flattering on less than perfect bodies.
Dear Dumb Mom,
I am an avid “What Not to Wear” watcher, too. I saw your make-over and had to reach out to you. I am the senior health producer for PIC.tv. We are a non-profit organization that helps low-income, low-literacy audiences access information, resources, etc., using what we call “public-purpose media.” I’d like to share with you our latest series about teen-age pregnancy and the challenges that parenthood would bring to both mom and dad. Here’s the link: http://www.pic.tv/9ine.
I’d love for you to write a blog about our series, sharing real world advice about pregnancy and parenthood with teens.
If you’re interested in learning more about the series and the work we do, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to discuss possible synergies.
Take care,
DeNita
I’m not sure if I responded to you about this yet or not. Been overwhelmed a bit this week!
But, I’d like to learn about what you guys do. You can email me here: parentingbydummies(at)gmail(dot)com
Saw you on What Not to Wear. I almost cried watching because I could feel your pain. I can totally relate to the low self-esteem issues, At 5o years old, I still suffer with them. I too, had my kids at a young age and still haven’t accepted the changes in my body, even after all these years!I am so happy that you feel better about yourself, you look great!
I’m watching you on TLC, about half way through the episode and I already love you! You are telling my story. Thank you for having the courage to tell your story.
I just finished watching your story on What Not to Wear. As Amanda said above-you are telling my story-stay at home mom with 3 boys and does NOT like the body left after kids. Thank you for being courageous enough to share your story. It makes me feel not so alone
Dare I also jump on the bandwagon here and say that I ALSO watched you on What Not to Wear this week? LOL
I tend to watch that show and fast forward through the episodes that I can’t really relate to. Your show – not only did I not fast forward, but I actually rewound a few parts!
Now I cannot wait until there is a little bit of spring in the air so I can spiff myself up a bit – you and Stacy and Clinton have inspired me.
My youngest child is almost three and there will not be another baby, so it’s time for me to start adding myself back into the “to be taken care of” mix.
Thanks for being a great example on the show – you seem like a super sweet person.
Check out my blog for your list. My “From the Heart” promises to touch you, these are true life experiences and there is always my “To Make You Smile” so you can wipe the tears and smile before leaving my blog. Nothing like adding a little BLING to all the Chaos of life!

I think you need a “Moms of Boys” blog list!
