Okay, so maybe you want to follow people better than me.
My Pinterest page is mostly an extension of the awesomeness I bring to you right here on this little blog. I use most of my boards to substantiate my crazy to support what I blog about.
So, if you’re sick of me, or pretty sure you’re about to be, chances are my Pinterest page is not the place for you.
But, if you tolerate me, enjoy me, or love me long time, you are probably gonna love this: Good Hair Gone Bad (which complete explains the Weird Al bit up there!).
What you need to know about Pinterest, though, is that their are some special people on there who really know how to make other people happy. They fill their Pinterest places with joy and light. Or funky and fresh. Or whatever it is that you need, want, desire, or crave.
It’s a great place to go to find Thanksgiving ideas, and Christmas decorating ideas, and even robots getting their freak on.
If someone in a sweat shop makes it; it’s on Pinterest.
If someone in a little cottage by the sea makes it; it’s on Pinterest.
If it falls from the sky, bubbles up out of the ground, comes from outer space, or the inside of a platypus’s belly, chances are, it’s on Pinterest.

- She Suggests. Love the Party like it’s 1999 set. Also owner of a fun little blog about raising adorableness in the form of a kid and a pet.
- The Busy Budgeting Mama. Everyone knows budgets and I have some serious beef. That is unless they allow for me to indulge in pretty fabulousness. I don’t know how budget-ish these party ideas are, but dang it if they aren’t pretty and fabulous (I’m all up in the Reindeer cupcake thingys on her Christmas Cheer board). - Love the Day. I love pretty much every day that I stumble across one of these lovely pinboards! Her spooky Halloween idea board was one of my all time favorites this season (not that I had the skill or energy to try anything on it). I’m quickly falling in love with her similarly named blog thanks to her Crayon Party idea that I seriously want to recreate (in true novice form of course) for my little artist’s happy day.

- Allison Butt of Alli ‘n Son. Yes, she’s one of my all time favorite bloggers, but she’s also one of my favorite yummy food pinners on Pinterest. Total drool worthy stuff here, people. And she has some serious food related fun every Friday on her blog when she posts Sweet Tooth Friday!
- Sweet Sugar Belle. Um, yeah, she has the words sweet and sugar smashed together and followed by belle, no way her pinning spot can be anything but pretty and tasty! Love the cookie topped milk jugs she pinned on her “Inspiring Cookies” board. And also that she is inspired by cookies (my kinda chick). And also her blog, The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle.
- (a)Musing Foodie, known on Pinterest and in life as Liza Hawkins. She has a board called Food Porn, people. Everyone likes porn, right?! Um, right?!

Best Photo Lovin’ Pinners
- Laura Etherton. I debated putting this awesome pinner into multiple categories, but photography fits best. So many great posing ideas, what to wear ideas, and even Photoshop/editing ideas if you’re in the market for that. Loved this photography board so much I can’t even think of anything funny to say about it. Dang it, I hate it when my funny fails me! Wanna check out her blogspot? - Meghan Tucker. This is one of my fave pinners of photos who also blogs (whew, that’s a mouth full!) because I LOVE the Dude photo she pinned! So wish I woulda thought to capture something like this with my Dudes when they were little enough for Dumb Dad to dead lift. Catch her blogging about being a hip homeschool mom and other stuff I know absolutely nothing about.
- Angry Julie. Who’s not really as ticked off as she’d like you to believe. Check out her photo board for some seriously useful photography tips and tricks. And then head over to her blog, Angry Julie Monday, to see her camera go to work.

- Maria BORED Mommy. The “Staring is Caring” board did it for me. You know how I love me some man candy appreciate human beauty. Also, I love her plethora of pinboards (so many pins in one happy place!).
- Kirsten Nilsen. I oohhed and ahhhed through all of her pins. And she has a pin for everything. Seriously. EV-ERY-THING! Including the kitchen sink. Find her blogging here: Nilsen Life.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. Love because, well I LOVE it! Hate- because it sucks me in and I spend WAY too much time on there! And, thanks for sharing that food one.. I’m hungry now! Off to go get sucked into it while I browse the food…
Um. Hello. I’m assuming I’m not on this list because I’m an A-lister?
I just found that if I pin items for anthropologie and then go back a few weeks later, they are almost always on sale, and I can access the sale price through my pin EVEN THOUGH if I go directly to the site my items are not listed anymore at all. I just ordered a dress and shirt I’ve been coveting. The shirt was 90. I just got it for 30. and the dress was $228 down to 59. Score!

I love finding new pinners to follow. I am a little obsessed with pinning food. I was even doing a weekly Pinterest meal plan for a while. It was so much fun. I need to start doing it again.
