Wordful Wednesday. Halloween is Over, But Still.

by Dumb Mom on November 3, 2010

I know you all have been waiting anxiously for the announcement of the winner of the Happily (un)Haunted Halloween Photo Contest hosted by myself and Costume Express.

Dying I’m sure.

And, the day has finally come!

The winner, chosen all official like by Random.org is…

April from April’s Little Family who shared this adorable shot:

tiger kid

Let’s give her a huge round of applause and encourage her to give me her Celebrate Express gift card to fund #1’s birthday bash next week enjoy it!

And, just because I’m physically unable to pass up an opportunity to share a really cute photo, I’ve decided to also pick my favorites from the entries and showcase them as well!

Right after I share a couple few of my own…

Alright.  Enough about me.  Ready for my contest entry faves now?

And, something I didn’t mention before, each of these lovely participants have been given their very own little ad button right here on this little ole blog for Dumb Mom visitors’ clicking pleasure (I don’t get a lot of visitors, but I get a few and they actually do click on those little buttons over there when they come, so since I’m broke as a joke and I have nothing else of value to give, I figure this is the best I can do for the sweet people who help me out by contributing to my awesome with awesome of their own!).

Please enjoy the best Halloween photos (chosen entirely by me) that were NOT taken by me!

Best costume individual: Mallard Cove Mommy’s Pumpkin Princess

Best costume group:  Mommy Mambo’s 3 Stooges

Best photography: Better in Bulk’s Wolf Man Boy shot

So many great ones, right?!  Aren’t you glad I didn’t make you vote?!

But, if you’re in the mood for voting or whatever, feel free to check me out here…

I’m nominated in the humor category, duh, cause I’m funny.  Not sure how I got in the family one too, but I am.

Hook it up if you want, but I totally understand if you don’t.  These things are annoying and unless I win you will not hear me mention it again.

Unless I win.  And then you better believe I will be gloating about it all over this place mention it briefly in a future post:).

Thanks for joining me for another Wordful Wednesday, link up and explore!

Love them all but if I had to pick one, I think I’d have to go with the 3 stooges. That is just adorable. And how on earth do you get all your guys to sit there so nicely and smile for the camera. It’s like pulling teeth to get a good photo over here!

Thanks so much for honoring my Little Stooges. Those are all awesome costumes and some really great shots.
You guys carved so great pumpkins. I’m impressed. And I love your dino and dad snarling at each other……so classic. Dads really are just boys with hairier parts.

Nothing brightens my morning like looking at pics of the cutest babies ever! Even if I feel like crap. Anyways, I voted for you in both categories because you’re freaking hilarious and your family is awesome! of course.

All the pictures are super. The best one is The Three Little Stooges. It’s simple, timeless, and too cute. Great job.

You linked me up. You are a super star. Alyson contacted me about the Nutcracker, too. I can’t wait to take my girls. And, how cute is that picture of the hubs and the youngest? I mean, all the pictures are cute, but that one I really love.

#1 smiles/smirks just like dumb dad! LOL I love looking at pictures of my kids and seeing expressions that mimic my husband or myself, especially when it’s random and they’re not posing. The other day I snapped a photo of my man walking with his dad….they were in perfect sync – arms, legs, facial expressions, EVERYTHING! It was really cool.

I posted a couple of pix of Lucas as “Nacho Cheese” (he chose the name) – Nacho Libre’s arch nemesis. HAHAHA

What great pictures! You must have had fun sorting through them all. The winning shot is actually very artistic! Your family is so cute, and that pumpkin is scary. :)
