Sometimes, when I get something cute to giveaway I am inspired to have a photo shoot.
So I did!
With my cute-as-a-button goddaughter, Baby Grill and this adorably smart onesie from Baby Potential…
And, not to be outdone, #3 wanted to rock the set a little too…
Mostly he was busy dancing (because that’s what he always does) and trying not to wear his sweet little shirt from Baby Potential.
He prefers a little more, um, flamboyance when it comes to couture and often likes to dress like a homeless person with a mental imbalance be a little more expressive with his fashion. The hips shirt don’t lie…
Or naked…
He usually just wants to be buck naked.
But, the shirt is cute, I don’t care if he did turn his nose up at it when I put it on him…
He’s so ungrateful sometimes, that kid. I get him inspiring shirts to make him more smarter and stuff, and he doesn’t even want to wear them.
At least Baby Grill was happy in hers…

And your baby/less fashion pretentious toddler will be happy in one too!
And what exactly is it they are wearing?!
Introducing Baby Potential, quality children’s clothing designed to nurture little people to become whatever their mommy wants them to hearts desire. The founders, Dacia Napier and Allison Zeller, founded the company with the belief that, “with love, education and community support, all babies have the potential to grow into productive adults and achieve career success – regardless of gender, race or socio-economic status.”*
Dude #3 got one that says “Rocket Scientist” but, after over two years of growing this little dude up, I don’t really believe it at this point.
Seriously, you ever seen a rocket scientist with his underwear on backwards, in rain boots and shorts?
Yeah. Me neither.
They need one that says Rockstar because I think we all know that’s what he is!
Want to get your hands on an inspiring little shirt/onesie for your little person?
Head over to Target and pick one up!
Or, you can win one from me!
But, don’t get your hopes up ladies, they don’t have one that says Professional Blogger or Awesome Mom yet so they will have to aspire to be other smart type stuff like a Lawyer or a Doctor and leave the blogging to me us!
To win all you have to do is…
1. Follow this awesome blog of mine!
2. Leave a comment by October 8, 2010, telling me what super smart profession I would be super awesome at you dream of your kid becoming one day. And none of that, I-want-him-to-be-whatever-makes-him-happy baloney, because we all know if our sons want to be gigolos (or our daughters “dancers”) when they grow up we aren’t going to be saying one thing about doing what makes them happy.
3. Be over 18, be in the US, and be human.
Easy, right!
Here to see if you are the winner of the Modern Family Season 1 DVD giveaway?
Well, you are if your name is, Lucy Francis AND Imperfect Momma you did!
*Dumb Mom has a slightly different perspective on this issue, and due to certain happenings in news media lately, I feel compelled to mention this fact. That being said, the shirts are cute. They are well made. And, my kid actually is going to be something super smart so it’s all good. If you are interested in my perspective on education and the role things like socio-economic status, race, and gender play in likelihood of future educational success click the link and read the article. Not saying Obama disagrees with me (because he would never do that), just saying it there IS a connection. In the only opinion that counts my opinion.
**pBd Admits it’s Free Disclaimer: They hooked me up with a coupla shirts. They convinced me that they are a cool company and that they are down with helping people who need help. They didn’t convince me that the shirts are gonna change the world or that every kid that wears one is on the path to awesome. Maybe if they woulda paid me, I’d be more convinced. Doubt it though!

OMG the cuteness!!!
I would love for Georgia to be a (published, of course) writer, so that I can live vicariously through her success that I am too chicken to ever try at myself. Hope I win!
As of this morning, Twin A wants to be a scientist and Twin B wants to be a Rock Star by night and President by day….I wonder if that is possible?
The little guy, well right now he wants to be a dinosaur….
But MOM, on the other hand, would like to see the three of them become professional baseball players. Not becuase I like baseball so much, but for the fact that if they attend college, it will be paid for via scholarship, and if they don’t then they must have been drafted by the MAJORS and who really gives a Sh*t if they go to college!!
**I realize this is not a brainy career, but a brawny career. But their father and I went the Graduate degree route and I can’t say that it was entirely worth the effort and student loans on our backs. forever. and ever. and ever….
Oh I’m glad I follow you!
Right now, the munchkin would like to be a professional eater because that’s all. she. does.
But she’s five months.
Momma would love for her to grow up and become a world-famous archeologist because that’s what momma wanted to do but got talked out of it by friends and family.
Great post and great link to that article..
Is there one that says Zoo Biologist/Paleontologist/Veterinarian/Animal rescue/Explorer thats what the dude wants to be. The lil miss, she’ll take one that says mom

I want my Dixie to marry a very successful -and hot- professional athlete who will also buy me a nice house and take me on vacations. **crossing fingers**
xoxoxo
First things first. Baby Grill is adorable. Dude #3 cracks me up with his zest for life.
And, they have an awesome philosophy too! Keeping my fingers crossed that I win this one.
Cute, cute, cute clothes!

My daughter has long expressed her desire to be a “gas station girl.” Yes, we’re very proud:p
(although to be fair, she also plans to be an astronaut. She’s going to be a gas station girl when she’s not in space, you see. lol)
I am a GFC Follower and I see my oldest as a Vet, my middle as a pro athlete and my youngest as an entertainer of some sort (comedy maybe)
Kiddo already told me she wants to be a scientist, so these shirts would be awesome for her-do they come in pink?
My son changes his mind all the time from NASCAR driver to video game developer to guitarist in a rock band to skateboard pro like Tony Hawk to whatever interests him at the moment.
I’m a follower.
OH my goodness I love his arm warmers. Those are about the cutest thing ever. I need to get me some of those (for my girls – not me, although I’d wear them too).
Follow with Google (ashleyreneephotos)
I want my daughter to be a singer – she has the attitude down lol
And my son to be a sports announcer he would love that!
I would love for either of my daughters to do something that will make them happy (AND FINANCIALLY SOUND!) I think my stepdaughter’s going to be a lawyer, my little one will be a musician of some sort.
I would looooove for Katie to work where I work. Then we can carpool every day and have lunch together and meet for our breaks and send emails with smiley faces all. day. long. But she’s got her own ideas. She either wants to be a mommy or a hair stylist.
Hmmm, good idea for a post…
I want my son to be police or a doctor, so he can make a difference
hii
Would love to say a scientist, but right now its FIREFIGHTER. I follow your blog. Would so love to win this giveaway!!!

I’m a new follower. I would want my daughter to be a doctor and save lives.
I’m loving those shirts! And your little man–incredible!
My husband IS a scientist, so I think I’d have to go with that title for at least one of our future children.
a doctor…
a doctor…just like granddaddy…
those shirts are too cute.
I am a new follower
My dream was to be an astronaut!
Following via GFC (MommySaves)
Now the way I see it I have a pretty good shot at getting one of them to turn out totally awesome – I have 5 little girls and surely one of them is. My oldest I think would make an outstanding public reletions person, she can put a good spin on the worst of situations, my “middles”, as 3 and 4 are often referred to, one I would love to see as a dancer (a little corny but hey she LOVES it!) and 3 is a rock star. I laughed hysterically about your little rock star above and his fondness for crazy outfits or nakedness. My #4 is quite the same!
Thanks! mommy saves at yahoo dot com
I’m so glad I found your blog. I’ve loved reading it. I’m a new follower. When my kids were babies I was sure they would grow up and change the world. The older they get the more I just hope they survive the teenage years, make it through college and lead an average life. My kids have said they want to be a vet, teacher, doctor, mommy, psychologist and pharmacist.
I am your newest follower.
Here’s hoping you’ll follow me back!

Jacob is going to be the next Myth Buster’s guy. I love that he loves science and experiments. I hope he never loses that.
how about neuroscientist or physicist or botanist, take any of them!
Definately would not be supportive of “dancer” or “multiple date arranger”!
I follow and I would like my son to be a car mechanic so that he could fix my car!
I follow your blog!
I would love for my daughter to be a Doctor!
I would love for my son to be an engineer like his daddy!
Nice! Great article! Thank you.
Beautiful children.
