When I think about making something, by myself, with my own two hands, that’s NOT edible, I break out in hives.
Because one of two things is going to happen:
1. It’s gonna suck.
2. It’s gonna cost me a butt load of cash (to buy instead of make).
Sucking and spending money on stuff I can’t wear (or carry purse style) stresses me out to the point of puking.
I’m just so dang bad at crafting stuff.
And, I hate that about myself.
Okay, not really.
But, I’m an awesome chick who likes pretty things, you know, so it’s sorta unsettling to know that my hands just don’t work right.
Normally, when I’m in a craft-mergency, I call up the old BFF (who is working on her very own so fabu craftalicious site as we Tweet!) and bully her beg her to hook it up.
That’s no way to live. I don’t wanna be a bully begger.
So, this year I’ve decided to try my man-hands at hand making a few items (a Halloween garland and possibly, maybe, if-I’m-super-ambitious some cute little Halloween party favors).
Items for which I’ve been combing the web for inspiration (because not only do I suck at the actual construction of the cuteness, I rarely if ever have my very own cute ideas; I’m so craft-handicapped).
And, all of this inspiration investigation has led to another edition of the BList, because some of these ladies are so creative we should all be insanely jealous give them a round.
Of applause.
Or booze.
Whichever they prefer. So long as you include me in the party for introducing you.
Welcome to BList 3*: Craftiest Girl People On the World Wide Web (Who aren’t Martha Stewart Getting over 100,000 Page Hits a Month)
*Presented in order of likelihood that I would ever even have the cajones to attempt to create any of the items featured.
Independent Craft Blog Chicks
1. It is What it Is. And, what it is, is cool! And, there is an outside chance that I might be able to even accomplish a less cool version of some of her stuff. I really like the army of monsters treat bag idea she posted so I’m thinking of trying some version of those.
2. The Autocrat. No way in Hades can I make anything she makes, and I don’t intend to try. Besides anyone who says, “I knew I could make one for the same price and it would look way more awesome,” is sorta the shiz in my book and I have no business copying her ever. Haley really is that craft-gangsta. And, feel free to tell me what an autocrat is even. It sounds creepy.
3. Kerry’s Paper Crafting Blog. One lady with a ton of ideas. And videos on how to make craft shiz happen. I would have to pause the video about 99 times before I could finish a project, but for those of you that actually knew that a Cricut was pronounced like cricket the insect and not cry-cut the Dumb-Mom-made-up-word, they are probably very helpful.
4. Little Miss Momma. I actually teared up reading her blog. Yep, being jealous of other people makes me cry. You might as well go on ahead and vote for her to win best crafty mom blog. She sorta deserves it.
5. What Allie’s Making Now. This chicks hands work so good it’s not even right! She makes dresses, a decorations, and all kinds of other stuff people like me are forced to buy. Plus she’s cute on top of everything! It’s not fair. Not even a little.
6. Knittermama. Now this is a woman I actually know and love in real life! And, guess what? She never makes me anything! But, she did make a pretty sweet little bean bag set for The Dudes last year that they use to try to kill each other with when they play dodge bean bag love.
Craft Blog Chick Compilations
1. Craft Fail. The one craft related blog that I could keep in business. Pretty much everything I make could be featured on this blog which is as embarrassing as it is sad.
2. Tatertots and Jell-O. It’s one chick, but she features a lot of others. Not sure how she finds the time to collect so much awesome, but she does, and it’s there all pretty and cute and theoretically “easy” to duplicate. Mostly I just love her blog’s name. And, for the record spell check on my computer, tatertots is SO a word.
3. Tip Junkie. Home to a lady who knows pretty much everything about pretty much everything. I met her in person last year at SITScation and she is even cuter in real life than she appears on her blog. I wanted to gag, she was so sweet, but thought me retching would make her hate me and I can’t stand to be hated by people who are awesome.
4. Somewhat Simple. Seriously cute items with links to the originators. Got so overwhelmed with the Halloween related crafts that I didn’t have the energy to click on all of the other tabs along the top. Assuming it’s a whole bunch of other stuff I can’t or won’t ever try.
5. How Does She?. Live life and not piss off people who suck at stuff be so effing awesome every effing day?! Probably because there are like six creative minds working together on the thing. I’d like to think that if there were six Dumb Moms in charge of the awesome over here things would be, um, more awesome. But, I’d also like to think I look cute in jeggings only I think we all know that ain’t true.
Now head out and visit a few of these creative ladies, but don’t bother coming back and telling me about all of the awesome things you’ve made; I don’t care and I don’t want to see.
*For those silly people who still don’t know: The BList (Blog+List=BList) is the same thing as the GList on Glee. Only with blogs. And more awesome.

Creating the things at your own is not always quite easy ,as every kid and mom is not always creative. Also some people does not know how to convert things into something valuable and useful. So these kind of blogs can easily solve the problem of mothers as great hobby ideas and craft ideas gives a detailed information to kids and parents a rough sketch of how to carry different things.
I’m totally craft-tarded. I can’t do anything. Looking at sites like those you pointed out only makes me feel more inadequate.
When I read that about the cricut I busted out laughing in my office (thanks for that awkwardness, I hope no one heard me) because I thought the SAME THING AS YOU! For real.
I can do the crafts (usually), but I can NOT come up with the ideas on my own and then sometimes I’m lazy (or don’t really follow directions) so I don’t put forth the same amount of effort so it may not look quite as awesome as the original,
You are too too sweet for including Little Miss Momma on this list of craft rock stars! I hardly feel worthy! I was cracking up as I read this post–great writing girl!!!

Thank you so much for compiling this list. I was about to start trolling blogs for crafty ideas (for a newsletter I write, not to make crafts myself. Pul-lease! I’m with you on that) and instead I can just sit back and enjoy the work you already did. THANK YOU!!!
