Sadly we have spent more than our fair share of spring afternoons here…
Luckily we have gotten a good chunk of time to enjoy some of our favorite parts of spring as well, and I’m not talking about the beautiful blooms on the trees because the pollen that make them so lovely are our archenemies, our nemesi (?), the bane of our frolicking-in-the-sunshine existence.
Enjoy a musical montage of our Springtime @ the Casa, sung to the tune of Sesame Street despite the fact that #3 has abandoned it entirely in favor of an oversized hip hop bear named Harry.
Sorry, Elmo, dude, you’re cute and all, but your flow needs some serious work!
Sunny Day,
Me and Dad off to play.
On my way to where it’s safe to pee!
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Dumb Mom’s street.
Off to play
Getting wet is okay.
Interesting neighbors
who are such a treat!
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Dumb Mom’s street.
Sunny day.
Think I’ll just have a play.
On my way I’d better wear my cleats!

Can you tell me how to get
How to get to Dumb Mom’s street!
And, in case you are wondering, #3 is better and hasn’t had a visit to the ER in 3 whole days. Fingers crossed we won’t wind up there again anytime soon!

Your posts always make me smile! Love those pictures, too. I will be keeping #3 in my thoughts and prayers.
I sang that, now it’s stuck in my head. The pee picture cracked me up!
Great shots.
Keeping fingers crossed on the ER.
What a gorgeous story. Sorry your baby is still sick.
Sending positive thoughts your way, i hope everything turns out okay!
Poor #3. But that peeing photo is PRICELESS!!
I love the turtle too.
I’m so sorry about #3. That picture of him laying in that bed with the white sheet tugs at the heart. But the one of him peeing makes me laugh out loud. If I send Bud to you do you think you could train him all up for me.
Jen…you do know that I taught PBD everything she knows about PT’g and she fought me on my strategy every step of the way, LOL. But…once again, MkB!
That photo of him in bed broke my heart too. Hope he is okay! What great outdoor shots, especially that one on the hill!
I LOVE these pictures! Beautiful. And well done on the re-vamp of the song. I like your version better
Oh, and we spend far too much time in the ER with my asthmatic kiddos too. Sigh.
Wishing you much good health and sunshine!
Gotta agree about the peeing picture – its priceless
the turtle one too!
Sure hope your guy gets to feeling better. Love the pics of the kids outdoors.
I’m glad #3 is better and I hope he stays that way. Great Pics and song, although I prefer Hip Hop Harry as well. I even wrote a post about Hip Hop Harry back in 2008 after he taught us the difference between fruits and veggies. Did you know that cucumbers are fruits? Anyway, that turtle is so tiny and cute
Great post!
beautiful photos! and the peeing is priceless!
hope he’ll gets well really soon!
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! By far the best WW post I’ve seen all day and I’ve seen at least 25. lol Thanks for linking up on my linky. Have a great day.

I love the turtle, thats such a great pic!
That must be the hardest thing, seeing your baby in the hospital not feeling well. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family! Luuuuv the pics of your family enjoying spring. Beautiful!
It looks like you’ve been having lots of fun outside!
I have my fingers crossed for #3.
glad to hear #3 is better. We spent lots of time there too, and now with the 2 grandsons.. Such fun outside ( I too suffer the allergies, but still crave the sun) Enjoyed your story today! Happy WW!
So glad to hear #3 is okay. I like the song…and the teeny turtle and the pee-shot. I must be the only mom that hasn’t thought of snapping a pee-shot.
I love the turtle photo, so brilliant! And the peeing at the park. Hope your little fella is feeling better!
Great post! Here’s to #3 staying out of the ER!!
GREAT pictures! I love the tiny turtle! And I’m jealous of the potty-trained one….. how did you do that? You should give tips on THAT… I was not successful with my son- who started preschool in diapers despite my best efforts/bribery. His teachers ended up teaching him. I’m now having the same problem with my daughter… I keep trying to no avail. She starts preschool in September.
